Legend of Heroes

Legend of Heroes Remake is my project to translate a mod of a classic game, Legend of Cao Cao. Legend of Heroes is a game released in 1994, and the creator of this mod recreated the game (different person than LoK mod and with different tools) with updated engine and graphics from Legend of Cao Cao, which was released in 1999. It is a mod only released to members of a certain Korean internet cafe, and I tried to translate and redesign the game for my personal reasons and for my English speaking friends.

 

The mod is very hardcore as it was intended for the experts of the game. Therefore, in addition to translating the scripts, I redesigned the levels, ironed some bugs out, changed attiributes so the difficulty and playing experience would match the original game. Both the original Legend of Heroes and its remake here are more exploration based and have much complicated scripts than Legend of Kongming. So there are more works to be taken care of compared to my other translation project.

 

I don't plan to distribute my files nor give away my work since this project was done for personal satisfactions nor I have rights to do so.
